Depart Rostock by coach and transfer directly to “fairytale” Schwerin. Upon arrival, you’ll be taken on a guided walk of the old town. Your walk will cover the main highlights, such as the historical buildings in the old town, the Mecklenburg State Theatre and the medieval Schwerin Cathedral, an imposing Romanesque Gothic red-brick building. Spend some time on your own for lunch, maybe a boat ride depending on boat schedule or some shopping before you get to see the magnificent “Schloss Schwerin”.


It is a picturesque palace located on an island, considered the capital’s most famous building. Take a guided walk through Schloss Schwerin, also called “Neuschwanstein” of the North, to admire the beautiful interior. The gardens with their majestic beauty, offer a stunning view of the castle, which was built on the foundation of a Slavic castle and documenting the growth of power and wealth.
