See the real Lisbon while riding around the capital city in a tuktuk and stop along the way for specialty tastings that reflect the local cuisine. You will begin with an iconic Portuguese liqueur known as ginjinha, a sweet drink made by infusing sour cherries in aguardente (type of destilled alcoholic spirit) with sugar and cinnamon. Lisbon is also renowned for its tapas, more commonly called petiscos, which you will enjoy on at the traditional restaurant Cozinha da Estacao. The ingredients may range from codfish fritter to smoked Iberian ham. Dessert follows at the legendary bakery Pastéis de Belém, which has been serving its namesake egg custard tarts since 1837. One bite and you will understand their popularity. Another sampling awaits at a rooftop bar where you will enjoy a refreshing drink and breathtaking views of the skyline.
