OVERVIEW

Paddle a kayak through the typically calm waters of La Paz Bay, which is rimmed by stunningly beautiful beaches and volcanic rock formations. The adventure will begin in earnest at the Cortez Club on La Concha Beach, where you will receive an instructional briefing to maximize the kayaking experience. You will then ease into a single or double kayak and paddle off into the bay. The water tends to be crystal clear and only a few feet deep in some places. Even so, the kayak has a shallow draft and can easily be paddled most anywhere you wish to explore. Close to the shore where birds often gather, the views tend to be even more spectacular. After a hour or so of kayaking, you will disembark on one of the beaches to relax however you please. Feel free to bask in the sun, swim in the sea and enjoy the serenity and natural beauty.

Need to Know:

Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age and weigh no more than 250 lbs. Waiver must be signed. This activity is not recommended for guests with respiratory, hip, neck, knee, or other mobility issues and is not suitable for pregnant women. The tour takes place in La Paz Bay, where guests will paddle along stunning beachfronts and volcanic rock formations, with opportunities to enjoy white sand beach breaks. The beach features soft sand with some rocks and shallow waters, and umbrellas are available for shade. The paddle route runs back and forth from the departure point to the next beach, offering scenic views and possible sightings of birds and marine life. Kayak equipment, including a vest, paddle, and double-seated kayak, is provided, and the beach break occurs in a shallow water area perfect for swimming and relaxing.
